Lucky enough to get a housing assignment in Shanedling, Dauten, or Rutledge for 2012 - 2013?  Well, welcome to "JKL"... Home of the JKLephants!

The JKL Residential area was built in 1963.  It is comprised of three buildings, Shanedling, Dauten, and Rutledge, housing a total of over 270 residents.  JKL is appreciated by many residents for its large plaza and BBQ area that connect the three buildings.

In addition to each suite having its own balcony, each of the buildings offers its own unique amenities.  Rutledge is home to a newly renovated student lounge.  The lower level of Dauten contains a TV lounge, pool table, computer lab, and large kitchen.  The ping-pong table and big screen TV make Shanedling a fun place to hang out.  All three buildings have large study areas.  Combined, these spaces help promote living a balanced life in JKL.

To help maintain JKL, the residential area has a comprehensive staff each filling a variety of roles.  Together, student staff members and full-time JKL staff help to make your living experience in Shanedling, Dauten, or Rutledge as awesome as possible.
